Heritage Keepsakes
I have seen quite a few quilts that the quilting resembles wind blowing, but now when I need to use it myself, can't find a close up picture of it. Is there anyone that could please post a pic for me. I loved it when I saw it originally, but didn't think of saving it for future reference. (Duh!) Thanks in advance for your help. Mandalei
Angela Walters does some designs that I think look very "windy", especially when mixed with other motifs: http://www.quiltingismytherapy.com/2013/01/29/back-in-the-quilting-saddle/
Heritage Keepsakes
Thank you Lyn for the suggestions, and also Linda and Dell for the photos. I hadn't thought of Angela's designs, so thank you Mandy for that suggestion. I will definitely check that one out too.
Mandalei
If you have access to her second book, that's where I think you'll find ones that are most suitable. Just took a class with her at MQX and thought that the bigger designs really had alot of movement like clouds.
Mandalei
It's probably too late now, but I *just* came across this, and thought you might find it helpful: http://quiltsoflove.blogspot.ca/2013/02/falling-stars.html
Heritage Keepsakes
Thanks for that Mandy. It's all filed for 'future' reference so that next time I need wind I've got it! ( Quilting wind, that is )
