RitaR
Dawn, Amy, Heidi, Mark, Bob, Jim and anyone who can help me with signing in. I'm really having to sign in at least once a day, even if I've been here before. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or how to stay signed in a lot longer? Help would be so good!! Thank you in advance, someone, RitaR
Sheagatzi
When you sign in, are you checking the little box that says "remember me"? Also, if you ARE doing 'remember me" is your browser set so that it automatically empties the cache/history/deletes cookies at the end of each internet browsing session? RitaR
In reply: Yes, checking the little box. Browser is double checked, I do the cookies etc myself. Thanks for helping. maybe I'll just go check everything out again. Last time this happened, Dawn C had to adjust something. Or so I think. could be wrong. Thanks Andrea. meg
Hi Rita.. It's actually safer to sign in & out each time. It prevents hackers and can avoid having your computer compromised. To save myself the trouble, I only sign in if I want to post something. I just browse the forum as a guest the rest of the time.
DawnCavanaugh
Hi Rita, I checked the forum settings on your account and nothing there is set to require you to log in every time. In addition to your browser settings, you may wish to check your security settings. For example, every time I completely shut down my computer, I have to log back in when it reboots. Recent windows updates may have also implemented different security protocols on your computer. Check into that too.
