Darlene Epp Posted July 9, 2013 Report Share Posted July 9, 2013 Teresa, did you stablilize the whole quilt by Ditching around all the blocks and borders first? I've done a lot of huge custom quilts, roll back and forth all the time, and have never, ever pinned the inside of a quilt after it's on the frame. Pins & I are mortal enemies! That's why I have zippers! LOL BTW, those wrinkles will come out as soon as the quilt is quilted and off the machine. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
cathyh Posted July 9, 2013 Report Share Posted July 9, 2013 Like Darlene, I do a lot of stabilizing with SID over the entire quilt before I start rolling back and forth.. I do think those pins jump up to bite me! I bought zippers when I first got my LA and I put them in a safe place. They are still safe, and I refuse to buy more until I find the ones I have.
