chickenscratch
I just finished this one. Nothing fancy, just a pretty little QOV. I wasn't sure what to quilt on it, then I decided simpler is better sometimes. It's been so long since I did a basic meander that I almost forgot how. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jtconcessions/sets/72157637361613353/ I do need to toot my own horn. Take a look at those beautiful stitches!! You'd never know there was ivory thread on top and navy blue on the back. Top fabrics, discount store cottons Back fabric- blue batik Really thin cotton batting- maybe a lightweight Warm and natural(?) Bottom thread- super BOB in navy blue Top thread- Omni ivory

chickenscratch
Dell, this is the first time I've ever achieved tension this good. I think it was a fluke. Just the right amount of humidity in the air, the right thread combination, the right piece of lint in the bobbin case, and I crossed my eyes and stuck out my tongue. I only hope I can do as well on my own quilt, which I'm doing next.
qltnbe
You're going to have to show us pictures of all those facial expressions so that we can get it right. I am impressed with the two color thread choice. It turned out great.
maggienoella
That is a lovely quilt with perfect quilting for it. I'd like to make a QOV but no time right now. My DH does a lot better with tension than I do. Joan
delld
I guess I'll have to change the way I hold my tongue.
Heirloom Quilter
Great job Teresa! We never have the right amount of humidity in Florida. Guess I'm out of luck for that perfect tension!
