Michele in NY
I just got my own Ipad and am excited to be able to take it to MQX East in less than 2 weeks instead of having to haul the laptop. Anyway I remember reading on someone's blog a while back about some drawing app she uses to practice the movements of her designs. Of course, I can't find that info now. Do you use a drawing app and if so which ones do you recommend? Being a newbie I can use all the practice I can get. Thanks bunches! Primitive1
Hi Michele, The one is use with mine is called Photo Pen HD and was a free download..get yourself a little stylus to use too, it lets you either take or use a picture from your photos and then doodle on it until you find a quilting pattern that you like. It's a great tool!

dpsquilter
Adobe Ideas is good too. You can use different layers on a picture of a quilt to audition different designs.

Neher-in-law5
I just downloaded Photo Pen HD (there is a phone app version as well). It was very easy to figure out. I even had an easy time figuring out how to load a picture to it so I could play. I also have Sketchbook but haven't gotten much done with that one.
