Mercedes
My current Millie has a batting bar underneath the machine that I can put a large role of batting on - I use it not only for storage but to feed the batting up to the quilt sandwich. Does the new Millie come with this bar? I didn't see this as an accessory that you can purchase so I'm hoping it comes with one. I don't know what I'd do without it. Thanks! barbm
Mercedes, it isn't stock on the new machines, so you'll have to call APQS HQ to have it included.
Mercedes
That's good news. Thank you.
QuiltGuy
And do it before they ship as it doesn't add much to the shipping cost with the machine but to ship alone is prohibitive!
Mercedes
Thanks for that tip!
ffq-lar
Are the two frames so different that you can't remove the bar from the old frame to add to the new?
mark
If you go from the old square steel table legs to the new round steel table legs Linda, there is a difference on how the batting bar mounts to them.
Mercedes
The legs on my table are round so should be able to be switched out. I need to look at them closer and then I'll send an e-mail to APQS for a confirmation on this. That may be the way to go.
QuiltGuy
If they are round it is a pretty simple switch out!
