Got ready to load it onto the frame this morning and it was so thin that it kept tearing. I've never had this happen before. When I would try to smooth the batting out my fingers would tear the batting. It was Sew Perfect 100% cotton. Anyone ever used this batting and had problems with it. judyday Posted March 30, 2016 Report Share Posted March 30, 2016 I used it once when I was quilting with my DSM. I had the same problem. I was making a crib size but the batting was much larger.
