JillRN1995
I bought the Gammill stand alone bobbin winder online, and I didn't notice that it was designed for M bobbins before I ordered it. Is there any way to adjust it so that it will auto stop for L bobbins? Thanks, Jill
jimerickson
Yes. You simply loosen the spring/lever that trips the mechanism til it fits the L bobbin size. You might have to adjust the size of the spindle to fit your bobbins, but probably not. Good luck. Jim

Cagey
Jill: Here is a video how to thread and use the Gammill bobbin winder correctly; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyNdOOIjvaA At the 1:38 second point, you will see the black finger going between the bobbin sides. That is what stops/clicks the bobbin winder away from he flywheel when the bobbin is full. The screw the one you need to loosen is the one just under her index finger. You can also simply bend the metal tab for large adjustments and use the screw for fine adjustments. If you need to adjust the size of the spindle just squeeze it together gently with pliers. If you get it too tight, just spread them apart by slipping a straight edge screw driver into the gap and twisting. I am sure you will be up and running in no time. Best of luck to you.
