Mary Beth
What I learned today.... Just because the quilt belongs to your DH and you think you can work on it in your spare time, (:P:D - what is spare time), always - always - write down the color of thread you are using on the blasted quilt!!! You may not have spare time for a long time and then by the time you get back to it, you may have 6 cones of thread that are close - but no banana!! (Not that I'm using banana colored thread - it's just a figure of speech) I think I have the right one picked out, but if it's not, we will not turn the light on in the bedroom - there it's fixed!! Bonnie
We can always hope your DH is like mine and is 65% color blind....comes in handy when using reds, and purples...he thinks they are white. I at times thought it would be neat to see through his eyes on say a two color quilt....red/white, what does he really see.
