skimmer Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I found a new use for my Creative Memories round and oval cutting templates. I was able to use the round template for a circle I needed on a quilt and then again for some arcs in a sashing. I just got my machine two weeks ago so I have not built up my gadgets yet. It worked really well. They have some no-skid pads on the back of them. Since I haven't scrapbooked in a while I had to dust them off. Kim
iquiltit Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 I don't scrapbook but I also bought those templates at Craft 2000 on closeout. cheap LOL I know I will use them soon. also the squares with the round corners.
Mary Beth Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 I love it when we find tools used in other places to use in our quilting...Dawn C. is a magician when it come to stuff like that...get her started on things she finds around the house to use in her quilt room...pretty amazing!!
laststitchstudio Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 Instead of those non=skid pads...just use a little of spray ahesive on the ruller(s). When it gets too gunky use goo be gone to clean and reapply the spray. Not my idea....Sherry Rogers-Harrison. Works like "Bob's your cousin"...some Sherry humor.
quiltmonkey Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 Speaking of Sherry Rogers-Harrison...I haven't seen her adorable smiley face on this chat in ages! I am really missin her! Sherry, baby...come on out and play with us!
