Sams Mom
I\'m not having a good week. I am almost done with the cutest little baby quilt and some black gook appeared out of no where and landed on the white fabric. Now I have an ugly black spot. I see somewhere that Sew Clean works well. Where can I find that? Also, anything else that you know will work. I have looked in the archives a bit but I don\'t have a lot of time to research this. Thanks for the information! Donna
BethDurand
If you can\'t find anything else, how about a dot of bleach on a Q-tip to get just that spot? Good luck to you. Beth
Bonnie
If its grease the bleach won\'t cut it...and may do more damage than you think...you would have to cut the bleach with water to not damage the fibers. I know that this same subject came up a year ago, so I will go and try to find the link and attache it here when I find it.
quiltnutt
Put cornstarch, white powder,flour...anything to absorbe the grease...let it set overnite. Then take a carbonna wipe and blot the grease stain. It should come out..it hppened to me on a the corner and of course it was a cust quilt. Grease came out with no mark.
