barbm
I've looked everywhere I can, but I don't see any photos of the "overhead wiring" available as an option with a new Millie. Anybody got any input on that? Does it reduce drag? Is it worth it? I don't have it on my current Millie (bought used) and didn't really feel there was any need, until someone asked me about it recently.
Jessica Gamez
I just asked Bob about this the other day. It was mostly sold when they had the old spiral cords on the machine. what would happen is the cord would get caught along the wheels so they made that to lift the cord out of the way. ....ever since they went with the straight cord, there was no longer a need for it but APQS does still sell it. barbm
Thanks, Jessica! That's the kind of input I needed!
meg_marsh
Barb, I bought the overhead wiring so I could increase the lighting in my room. It is just a straight bar with a plug - perfect for my new light above my machine. Have the straight cord on the machine - not the pig tail. All works great! Quiltsinmotion
Barb , I didn't purchase the overhead wiring frame from APQS , I do have my milli plug into the ceiling . Just the way DH set it up , its so nice for its one less cord around my feet to trip over . I really like the set up the plug is in centered of my 14' table another way to save 500 bucks or more .
