Grammie
Ladies at the Quilt Festival in Houston there was a Fabric Booth for wide fabric backs in Batiks. I cannot find the literature I brought home with me. Anyone remember the name or website? I put batiks in Search but came up with nothng familiar. Thanks Tammie
birgitquilts
Tammie, The only online store I've ever seen offering extra wide batik fabric is www.sewbatik.com. I haven't ordered from them yet but am planing to do so soon. Birgit
Guest LA
Tammie, Birgit is correct, it is the Sew Batik Company. I remember giving you the hand out, but you must have been so excited about your new machine that you mis-placed it?! Diane & Bruce are wonderful to work with, just drop them an line & they will E-mail you the info for the Long Arm program. I ordered my supplies & fabric the other day, can't wait to offer these lovely fabrics to my customers, & it is something that the Quilt Shops can't get, so no problems there! Lol! ncutt
There is also Christian Lane Quilters. Great to do business with but Wilma just got out of the hospital. They are fantastic people!
Guest Linda S
Yes, Christian Lane has a fabulous selection, batiks included! Wilma has just come home from having surgery, but her partner and husband, Jim, is at the helm of the business while she is recovering. Not only does he sell wide backs, he also quilts! What a guy! Almost forgot: http://www.christianlanequilters.com Linda
Charlene
Hi, I saw an ad for Sew Batik's Associate Program for longarmers. Has anyone used this service, pros or cons? I currently do not stock any backings but can see the need. Thanks, Char
