meg_marsh Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 We went to Whistler, BC Canada for a couple of days to play golf. Beautiful country. The first couple of pictures are taken from a course in the valley. The 3rd picture is taken way up in the mountains and finally a pretty little Blue Jay. The setting is perfect for the 2010 Winter Olympics. It is amazing how high you start in the valley and how high you can go up into the mountains. I visit the Whistler Blackcomb website a lot. But I am a little glad that the weather hasn't been all that great in the Seattle area this summer - more time for my new passion:P Even fibbed to a few friends a couple of times this summer .... said I didn't feel good (a bug) when in truth the bug was my LA'ing... LOL:P:P Used to ski also, but a bad back and bad knee took that away. Don't miss it that much. Hate the cold! Whistler will be a beautiful site for the Olympics!!!
