JenniferBernard
Is anyone going to Witicha (I wish I could remember how to spell that city!) for Machine Quilters Showcase? I am going alone this year and would love a chance to visit with other APQS owners. It is an 8 hour drive for me from Iowa but I am stopping in Omaha to visit a new grand baby on e way there and back. I can't drive 8 hours in 1 day because I get too tired. Oma
Why is this being reported? I'm confused. By the way, Jennifer, it is spelled Wichita.
srichardson
Oma, Julie was probably reporting a spam post that was on this thread. Once it is reported the spam post is removed. I don't think she was reporting the post that Jennifer made.
JenniferBernard
Wow! What is going on! I am trying to learn how to participate on this forum. I don't think I wrote anything bad except some mis spellings. Dawn C knows me from Iowa and I would never post anything radical or rude.
LeeAnn
No Jennifer. Someone posted something on your thread that was questionable and it was removed. Nobody thought anything was wrong with you. BTW, I wish I was going to MQS and I would be glad to meet up with you. Maybe somebody will chime in here yet. JenniferBernard
Thanks for the reassurance and the help in spelling Wichita! I know I have seen signs at MQS for forum members to meet. I hope to meet some Other quilters that love their APQS machines.
DawnCavanaugh
Hi Jennifer, I deleted a spammer who had latched on to your post. No worries, you're definitely top notch! (Have any of you seen Jennifer's amazing jackets she has made--and won awards with?) I am SO jealous of her tailoring skills!
Callie_Grace
I am hoping to go. I am thinking I will take classes on either Monday-Tuesday or Tuesday-Wednesday, then come back on Saturday. I am only a couple hours north on the turnpike. I will miss it being in Kansas City though.
quiltedsunflower
I'm planning to go but not sure which days yet. I'm right on I-35 about 50 miles north of KC. I wish it was still in Overland Park, too, but don't mind an adventure. Wichita is a nice town and should be a lot of fun.

Hi, Jennifer...I just couldn't figure out why you were being reported and now that's explained and I wasn't correcting your spelling...well I guess it looked like I was, but even I looked it up to make sure of it. It's a weird sounding name. I've been to Wichita on more than one occasion and it's a nice place. Enjoy the town and MQS.
JenniferBernard
I always value spelling help as I am terrible and I was a teacher for 22 years! I love spell checker except when I can't get close enough to generate the correct word! I am always excited about the classes, the competition, and the vendors at MQS since it is the closest long arm show to where I live. I am even branching out and teaching 2 classes using the Quiltazoid. I am preparing like mad!
