Renae
The flowers and leaves are traputoed (sp?).
Boni
Now that looks like pure fun. Are the leaves, etc. fused? or just raw edge? Great quilts and quilting Renae!

Sandra Darlington
This one looks very nice, too. My, you have been busy! I think I bought this one from Fons & Porter's magazine as a kit a year ago. Of course, I didn't start it yet, so my memory of what it looks like may be a bit off. I haven't looked at it since it was delivered. LOL
Renae
She just raw edged them and then I stitched around them so she can take the basting stitches out of the flowers and leaves. Renae
jmcclannan
Renae, I love the daisies you quilted in the yellow squares. Verrrry nice.
Renae
Thanks everyone, it was fun to do and she didn't want a lot of quilting in it so this is how I finished it. SID, Daisy's in the yellow blocks and I had to do some filling in the other blocks around the leaves and the big Daisy. Left it pretty simple, I think. susanramey
That quilt is so sweet! Daisies are my favorite flower. They have free rein in my yard-growing everywhere. Unfortunately, when we brought our puppy dog home he decided they were his favorite flower also and layed all over the daisies growing in the back yard along a long wall. Even eating them when they bloomed.
Sheri Butler
Very Nice Renea. Makes me want summer back! (And winter's not yet here.) Is that your quilt shop in the background I see?
Bekah
love those daisies. did you mark them first or just freehand them? That is one adorable fun quilt. thank you for sharing
Renae
I drew the daisy off of another panto onto gold tissue paper used for applique and then used my laser light. I'm not that good drawing things like that freemotion. Things like that always look like a first grader did it......:D Renae
