Can someone tell where I can purchase it and I also I want polyester not cotton. Any help would be great. Many thanks... Looks like King Tut with the variegated colors, but is shorter cones that are polyester. Can't remember the name of it. I used to have a cone, but it is all gone now. Mrs.A Posted July 20, 2009 Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 Superior's Poly Quilter is even heavier than the Lava... Lava is a shiny, 35 weight polyester. Poly Quilter is 19 weight poly with a matte, cotton-like finish. Both are variegated and great if you want a heavy thread look.
