cvrchota
?good... i oiled and ran the machine for a few minutes this morning... threaded it up, put in the bobbin... used the handwheel to needle down/up... everything worked fine until i pulled the thread to get the bobbin thread on top of the quilt and it won't come up when i pull the thread.. like it's stuck... any ideas what we did wrong during our timing job? thanks !! charla
Katydids
Charla, when you put the hook retaining finger back in, make sure you didn't push it all the way in. It only goes in about 1/3rd of the way. That will keep the bobbin thread from coming up.

cvrchota
i made a slight adjustment to the magnetic sensor at the back at the machine and now my millie works like a dream!! i'm thinking this has always been slightly out of adjustment because i've had this same problem since i bought the machine... in '03... the bobbin thread would always break when i stopped the machine and then get stuck somewhere in the mechanism ... only rocking the handwheel back and forth would release the thread in one piece... anyway... all fixed now... can't wait to finish up my quilts!! charla
