remove frogging marks

I just frogged a large area and made myself do it before I went to bed, otherwise I wouldn't want to start on it in the morning. So do you have any suggestions of how to close up the holes? I know they will wash out, but that's not an option on a customer quilt. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

I spray my frogged area with plain water, and sort of rub over the area with my finger nail lightly. Usually the marks go away. I do this before I go to bed, and when I get up everything is completely dry. ...just did it last night. :mad:

I will run a damp cloth over the area and then very lightly scratch it with my fingernail.

I sprtiz a fingernail brush then lightly go over the area. Works like a charm. It's also good to remove chalk lines.

I also very lightly spray with water or run a damp cloth - scratch light with fingernail. If that doesn't solve the problem, will also spray lightly with starch (Mary Ellen's Best). Always let the quilt dry. The starch pulls the fabric in. If this doesn't work - might add a bit of steam.

That reminds me, I was looking at a magazine cover the other day and you could actually see very clearly where someone had frogged an area and re-stitched. I'll look for it over the weekend. I was really surprised to see it, and so plainly. Hope one of the above tricks work for you.
