Matt Sparrow Posted September 23, 2009 Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 I've been waiting to do some micro work to give my Quilt Glide a go but haven't had the opportunity yet. Today, I have been doing lots of ruler work and find that I lose momentum as I change direction and the machine comes to a dead stop with needle down. I decided to try turning the Quilt Glide on it's lowest setting to see if that helps. WOW! It works like a charm, keeping the needle in motion as I reposition the ruler to head off in another direction. Give it a try and tell me what you think... Matt Sparrow Posted September 23, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 Laura, if the quilt is small I rarely use the clamps and if I do, it's only to hold the backing, never to pull it.
