I want to do feathers and my idea was for them to all start in the corner and then meet at the middle. I can't decide on a shape for my stem. The heart thing doesn't look right. Doodlebugs...... Start above the center of the picture and draw the stem up and to the right, then down and left, down and right, up and left to the bottome center of the picture, etc. Then add the feathers in the same order. Right now I am quilting a phoenix rising from flames on a colour wash read orange and yellow wallhanging!!!!
