fabric007
Any ideas out there for a christmas panto...I like the kind that dont look like they are done in a row..cant find anything really cute...would like something with snow flakes or multiple christmas thingys...thanks..or any free hand look would be better..snowflakes would be challenging
Quilting Heidi
Jodi Beamish's Festive Holly would be good. I have a snowflake one but don't know off the top of my head whose pattern it is. I can check when I get home tonight if you want. I've stitched it and it looks really nice and is an all-over. LinneaMarie
How about holly and berries? I can do that one freehand. Just make your leaves loopy from one or two to the next spot.
Primitive1
I got a nice snowflake panto from WIllowLeaf that looks pretty nice...
doodlebug
here's another idea to bounce around... this quilt was christmas themed,so i made a template for my snowflake, drew around it with chalk, quilted it and the echo in one stop and start, then went back and free-handed the background... maybe this would work for you....instead of snowflakes you could do holly. heck...do both...there's tons of motif possibilites: mittens, snowmen, gingerbread men, christmas trees, christmas lights, stars, sleds, santa hat, candle, angels....
