quiltingjoyful51
Remember the 10 inch batik exchange? Well here is how I used most of mine. I had to add a few to reach 60 different fabrics, (no duplicates) This is the Sugarplums pattern from Home for the Holiday, by Lynda Milligan and Nancy Smith. quiltingjoyful51
Thanks everyone, I will get to quilt it in July. I was hoping others would show what they are doing with their batiks.
RitaR
Joyce, Love batiks and you put them together so no one area was overloaded with dark or light, or medium.. It's just plain pretty. Was the pattern very intense to sew together??? Keep going it's beautiful, Ritar
quiltingjoyful51
Each block has 4 corners to the next blocks, so you have to put the whole thing up on the design wall to keep it straight. it only has two size pieces, 4 each ( 2x31/2 and 2 x 5.) of each color. It took about 30 minutes a block to sew but about 30 hours to set up. ( just seemes like it did).
