fineseams
I am kind of wiped out tonight - fixed a complicated Indian dinner - whew. Every pot in the kitchen was dirty. But it was yum. One of the bad things about living out in the country is that if you want something besides a hamburger you have to drive a long way. And in this area, even if you drive a long way ( 1 hour +) you may not find something really good. So I made Channa Dal, Chicken Tika Masala, Saag, and rice. Oh my. And my DH was even happy enough that he helped me clean up the kitchen mess. Anyway, tomorrow I'll put together a U2U for you, Virginia. I have 8 1 yard pieces soaking in soda ash water. My goal for tomorrow is to get all of them dyed in some interesting way so that when I get back from Asilomar I can put together a simple quilt that will be much more fun to practice on than just plain old unbleached muslin:-)

sewcrazy4quilting
Ohhhh nooooo I love your hand dyes, now I think I need to add this aspect to my quilt world, not that my quilting world isn't big enough already (just ask my DH).
