KerriM
Does anyone know where I can find a Lone star log cabin quilt pattern? It's the one that has the lone star about 2/3 down on the quilt and the log cabin patterns around it set on-point. Thanks, Kerri
KerriM
Can I assume noone has seen this pattern? I've seen a lot of Amish quilts already made on the internet that I like but just can't find the pattern. Should I try to make one up myself? Thanks, Kerrri
Norma H
There is a pattern shown on Amazon, but says it is out of print. http://www.amazon.com/Lone-Star-Log-Cabin-Quilt-Craft/dp/B001582UWC/ref=sr_1_37?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1281921782&sr=1-
Liam
Kerri I am doing a lone star log cabin quilt for my daughter's wedding. I don't have a pattern, I am wing'n it as I go. I have a large lone star in the center and log cabin blocks around it; it is set on point. In the four corners I have a smaller lone star. That is as far as I am right now. I am using a Moda FQ bundle, Pine Creek Crossing by Holly Taylor with a Moda Tan Marble for the back ground. I will post pictures when I am finished. sewlinzi
My Fons & Porter has basic instructions for the lone star itself and there is also a good book by Jan Krentz but I don't recall seeing those settings in the corners, I reckon you could make them up to suit, though...
