quiltmonkey Posted December 30, 2010 Report Share Posted December 30, 2010 OK I think that is the little thumbscrew nut that holds the gray cable on the back. While standing at the back of the machine, look at your right bottom corner where the control handle is. On the machine itself in the lower back corner there is a cable and that thumbscrew is supposed to have a little plastic thingy (like a loop) and you run the cable through that thingy and insert the thumbscrew into the hole in the machine so it holds a few inches of the cable down so it doesn't get in the way. I know I didn't make any sense with my description so I suggest that you open your installation manual and go to the part that talks about connecting the cable (it's gray).
