Primitive1
Does anyone know what kind of fuse the milli takes? I used my spare fuse this morning and want to be sure I replace it so I won't be out of commission if I blow another one....is it only available from APQS or is it a fuse I can get at an auto parts store? Thanks!
mark
The main fuse in the Millenniun is a 6.3 A slow blow. They are pretty common at Radio Shack. If you can't find them there, give us a call we have them in stock.
JBQuilts
Mark, What size does Lenni need. I should keep a spare handy also. Thanks.

Neher-in-law5
I think George takes the same fuse as Lenni, am I right? Thanks.
JBQuilts
Mark, You said "the main fuse"; does the U.S. Lenni have more than one?
Heirloom Quilter
Is there a special button to push to open the fuse holder? I have a spare fuse, but can't figure out how to get the old one out.
Primitive1
Debbie, You need a small screwdriver and it just pops out...the spare slides out to the side, you can also use your screwdriver to push it out.
LinneaMarie
I can't even open the spot where my fuse is. With all my might, it won't budge. poo-pah!
Rae50
I can't get my fuse box cover off either. Every time I use my millie I just hope that I don't blow a fuse. Is there a special trick to open it or get the cover off? Thanks in advance for any and all help.
mark
Janice, the US Lennis only have the one fuse. The Canadian Lennis have a fuse under the top cover for the motor. And yes that little fuse drawer is very tight. When you unplug your power cord and look in you will see a little groove on the top side of the fuse shelf. You need to put a screwdriver flat blade on the groove and pull out to get the fuse holder out and then you will see the fuse and the spare one too. JBQuilts
When I had to change mine I thought it would not come open either. It flew across the room when it did come off.... but it did come off. You have to be very aggressive with the screwdriver; gentle prying(sp) will not get it! Get that screwdriver under there and give a good heave.... yank... tug.... you know what I mean.
yankiequilter
Vicki, I blew a fuse recently and had to use the spare provided by APQS. The next time into town I went to Radio Shack to buy spares and they sell a package of 4 fuses for just a few dollars. I hope that is a lifetime supply! Rae50
Mark, Thanks for the answer. I tried to pry it off one day to see if there was an extra fuse in there (bought my machine used from an individual) and was worried that I was doing something wrong and might cause some damage. I mentioned the problem to my husband and he looked at it and was going to start digging at it when I stopped him. I'm really happy to know how to properly dislodge the cover. Thanks again.
