Hitomi
This is my first Drunkard path I've ever sewn. Now I know why they call it a drunkard path. It was very differcult trying to lay it out and sew the rows. I kept getting mixed up. I wanted to make another King size bedspread for my bed. I'll throw it on the Millie and quilt it tomorrow. Wish me luck!
Hitomi
Oh, any suggestions on quilting it?
Susanne.Hughes
Hi Hitomi, I had one for a customer and she wanted an allover only. The quilt was going to her son in the military and it coudn't be anything frilly and had to standup to all sorts of washing methods. I let my husband (ex military) choose the E2E and he picked Mimosa by Patricia Ritter. It gave a really nice texture, still had a few curves but wasn't girly as far as my He-man was concerned. Cheers,
Oma
That's beautiful. Can't wait to see what you do to quilt it. I'm working on one now for my daughter's graduation. I'm using my Studio to cut it out so the blocks are smaller.
Quilting Heidi
Hitomi that is really pretty. I would do some geometric, either echoing in the block area or circles in the cirle area and ferny feathers. I hope that makes sense.
Guest Linda S
Very pretty! I love the colors. I use Sharon Schamber's piece-lique' method to sew those types of curves. Linda
