MarieBrewer
Yesterday I talked to Mark about the stiffness of my M&M wheels. Told me to take them off & check for thread or bad bearrings. All is fine. The wheels spin like crazy when off the machine. Back on the machine I can hard turn the front ones and the machine won't glide front to back. Does anyone have some suggestions as to what's next for ideas to fix the problem? Everythings seems level too. It's as though the machine is too heavy for them. Thanks for any suggestions
Guest Linda S
Do you have them adjusted too tightly? What position are your cams in? Sounds like something is just too tight.
Myrna Ficken
They actually ride tighter that the old style wheels. The rail rides in the groove not. In the old one the edge of the wheel rode on the rail. Did this just start?
witha'K'quilting
You have to have add a small washer that rides on top the bearing to act as spacer between the wheel and the thick silver spacer. Otherwise, the spacer hits the top of the wheel and doesn't allow it to turn smoothly. Call if you need to. I will send my# via u2u.
MarieBrewer
Linda, the M&M's don't have cams and are not adjustable. Myrna, I get that they ride tighter but the back ones I can turn with my fingers and the front ones are a struggle to turn on the carriage. They didn't used to be like that. That's why I'm wondering if something is wrong. Kristina, there is a washer that came w/the wheels. When they are off the machine they are so nice. I'll call you. Thanks
JoAnnHoffman
The C ring that holds the bearings in the wheel needs to be on top. Marie has the Bliss.

Guest Linda S
I have M&M Wheels too, and I still have my cams and can adjust my wheels. What happened to yours?
witha'K'quilting
Marie, the extra washer might need to go on the bolt side too. Make sure that a washer is on both sides of the bearing so that it spins freely.
Littleshoes
Check to see that the Lexian (not sure if that is spelled right) table isn't in the way of your wheels. My machine will drag if they are slightly touching the wheels. It seems like my table will vibrate and end up in the way on it's own too.

Linda, If Marie got a full Bliss upgrade she doesn't have her cam's anymore...those are only on those of us who just got the wheels. The Bliss axles are smaller and there aren't any cam adjustments....
