Stagecl
I love most of them. But I love batiks the most. I had a friend who could see the potential in all the fabrics that were considered "ugly" . When she used them they were beautiful in her quilts. She just had a knack for blending the right colors. So now, I look at fabric with a different point of view and rarely consider any piece "ugly".
Primitive1
Tough question! I mostly lean toward fall colors - but also love batiks, the rich colors of reproductions (civil war) and also still love 30's repros....reds and greens too....(you see I can't make up my mind - I love most of them!) sewhappy
I used to tell myself I don't want to be a fabric snob- But Batiks & moda stop me in my tracks at the quilt shops!!
Sandra Darlington
I like most all of the fabrics, from the Thimpleberries, Moda, and the Civil War reproductions, to the 30's reproductions, to batiks, jewel tones, soft, muted, pinks, celery greens and beige, to Christmas fabrics, to......I guess I just love them all. Susan Grady
As long as it's good quality I love it all! I really like fabrics that feel good. There seems to be such a difference in the greige goods the manufacturers use.
Elita@BusyNeedleQuilting
For me, it's more about colour than a specific fabric line. Most of the time it's anything blue, preferably tonal. Also drawn to reds at times. I am presently on a purple kick. I like the mix up of batiks but some of my favourites are jewel-tones. I also love the muted tones of the late 1800s. Just depends on the day. :-)
