cblevins
Hubby is having a problem with Millie. The stitch is perfect in every direction except when he is pushing away (stitching from the front). It almost looks like each stitch is offset just a tiny bit from the previous one instead of running straight. He has cleaned and checked....any other suggestions? zeke
Check your carriage wheels. You may need new ones if they are old. Sometimes we don't really notice if the wheels are starting to go bad or if the bearings are getting worn. Check for thread around the wheels and check if there is any grease seeping out of the seals. That's a good indication that the bearings are going bad. Regards, zeke...........................and it may be only one wheel causing this to happen.
Guest Linda S
Have you got the SR on? As Zeke said, check to see if there is anything stuck in your encoder wheel. If you don't have M&M wheels, I highly suggest them!
cblevins
Yes the SR was on. We have m&m wheels. I will go check for thread and stuff!!! Thanks!
LadyLake
It might be due to needle flex. The machine doesn't like to stitch backwards. Try slowing down in that direction.
Judy Ingram
The same thing happened to me once. It took a while, but the fine folks at APQS finally figured it out. It was a bad needle. The whole package went in the trash.
