April W
Our GD Leah turned 7 on the 27th. When I told her she got to come spend the weekend with us after her birthday party she was so excited. Then I told her we were going to take GG Rachel to a quilt show on Saturday, she loved the idea. She grabbed my camera and took 52 pictures of quilts and bolts of fabrics. She got 2 fat quarters for $1 each, talked someone out of half a spool of thread and then had to have more fabric at the fabric shop we were about to pass up on our way to lunch. Here she is posing at the Show:

April W
She's actually been sewing for several years. She pieced a big quilt for her Dad & his new wife as a wedding gift 1/1/11. And in August of this year she was entered in her first show. She received a green (participant) ribbon that hangs in my sewing room with my ribbons. s.waits
Yep, this little cutie has grandma's number! Sounds like she's going to be a talented quilter, and a great negotiator! That's the way to find those bargains.
