sewlinzi
Just thinking about a couple of new rulers... what are the handiest sizes of Deloa's ropeadopes? The little one looks great but is it too fiddly?
Quilting Heidi
I like the little one for small borders and I don't think it is too fiddly. Once you get the path down I think they are all the same for use. I have all the sizes so I'm not a good one for picking just one.
DB
I have them all. Sorry, I just don't have any self control when I'm at the big shows, I got mine last year at MQX. Dianne
Zora
I have the 1-1/2 and 2 inch ones. For the type quilting I do, those sizes work best. I opted not to get the larger ones, because I didn't think they provided dense enough quilting on their own. I know you can put feathers or something inside the rope sections, but that changes the look and you lose some of the rope feeling. Just my opinion. The small one is not hard to use at all. I love these things!
lmeimann
I only have the largest one and I feel like it moves too easily on me. I think that the smaller ones would be a bit easier to perfect. That being said, I do like the finished product.
sewlinzi
Thanks all, I think I will go for two smaller ones, not known for large quilting, myself...
