Stagecl
Your quilt turned out beautiful! I am working on my "Over the River", but I only have 1/2 of a panel done. My oldest DD has already claimed it. It is also done in blues!

Thanks again for all of your kind words! Thank you Vicki for the info on the pattern. For those of us that have been eyeing this quilt off that don't have it, now we can have our very own. susanramey
Vicki, In the middle block where you crosshatched, did you quilt over the letters? What thread did you use? I have 2 of these beautiful quilt tops in red coming to me soon to quilt so I am gathering ideas.
ffq-lar
Great quilting, Vicki! I love the swirls in the sky. This pattern is popular around here--a vendor at our quilt show in October had all the patterns for sale and these are slowing trickling to me for quilting. I have done three so far and just finished quilting a "variation" yesterday. My customer borrowed the pieced-block designs to enlarge a woodsy panel. It ended up lap size with extra strips of pieced blocks, sashings and multiple borders.
Primitive1
Susan, Yes I just quilted right over the letters. I oulined the snow scenes and added to the sky and snow. I did however find outlining all of those branches a little tedious but worth it when they were finally finished!
