Oma
Friday afternoon LA traffic OMG...it sucks! I feel sorry for him. I think my lights arrived today. It's a big package and it's from him. Yay...he's getting closer. I don't get to see him until Wednesday afternoon. I should tell him we don't have traffic problems here. I'll buy him a big Costco apple pie and put on a big pot of coffee.
BobbieJones
Dave is still working on my machine. A very long day for him!
BobbieJones
By now I hope we have lots more happy campers after Dave Jones gave your machine a make-over. I know I'm a happy camper. My machine runs better than it ever has - new M & M wheels made a huge difference along with Dave's overhead lights. Hooray!!
Oma
I'm waiting on him right now. He called earlier and could come today instead of tomorrow...Yay! I did just realize that the lights may be in front of my big screen TV...oh no! I'm excited!
s.waits
Oh my, Oma. Dave's lights AND a big screen TV! You really are going to be spoiled! I have Dave's lights that came with my machine when I bought it and I couldn't quilt without them.
chrisquilter
Dave came down I-75 last spring and spa'd my machine for me. When he opened the front of my machine he actually gasped! He said he had never seen so much thread inside a machine. Well I was pretty embarrassed! He even fashioned a "nose guard" from an empty so fine thread spool to cover my fly wheel. No more thread in there! He keeps double-sided tape in this tool box. Think he has seen that before? LOL My machine sounded so quiet when he was finished. He adjusted my wheels also. Wee! they moved so free! You guys will fall in love with your machines all over again, I did.
