shirleyl
Okay, dummy here, while working on installing my new quilt path, I bumped into s rsck with the head, didn't see anything wrong at the time, but it bent the hopping foot and broke the needle. While straightening the hopping foot of course I broke it. As my machine originally came with a different foot I will put that on and retime it in the morning, I had to walk away. I remember seeing something about interchangeable feet. Anyone have any info on them, since. Have to do it again, I might as well upgrade. Any information on the new feet would be appreciated. apylinski
Are there interchangeable feet doe the Millie? Open toed one?
shirleyl
Yes they do. I talked to them today. I think you buy a new shaft with hopping foot, enclosed for use with rulers. Then you can order the other ones. I just got the one I need for noe. Shirley
cathyh
Is replacing this a home repair, or does the head need to go to APQS?
shirleyl
No you can do it. If you don't want to keep the old hopping foot Amy said you can do it without retiming, but it ruins the one you have now. I kept my old one and since I broke the one I had on there, I removed it, installed the new one and retired my machine all this morning. I have retired it before and that is one of the things you will need to learn to do. There is a written instruction as well as a video.
