DebsQuiltArt
Hey...I have a superman quilt in and wonder if anyone has any suggestions of a good action pantograph for it? The fabric looks straight out a comic book, with large squares Superman mainly in it. Any ideas? Thanks, Deb
RitaR
Deb, I think I would follow the lines in the color book, like bursting muscles, or wind from speed, etc.. then outside the book, do a loose meander, some kind of not intense quilting, to leave the comic features or sections the focal point. I'd outline each page if there is room behind it, or sid the outline, and maybe a page or two, if more than one page edge shows. Sounds like a fun project even if Superman wasn't a favorite of mine. You will do it justice. Rita
ffq-lar
Scroll down to "True Blue" on this page at UrbanElementz. https://www.urbanelementz.com/shop/category/quilting-designs-by-category/starz/?page=2 Another thought. Draw a panto made from the "talk balloons" from a comic strip.
