K. Szymaszek
I have only used QD Wool batt but am wondering about Hobbs Wool Batt. Just curious if you like one over the other and why or if you find them equally good. I have purchased just one of the QD Wool on a roll and there were spots that seemed to over lap. Maybe this is normal. Thanks for your input. K
ffq-lar
QD wool is great, but my fave is Hobbs Tuscany in packages. It's amazingly even, clean, and has few creases out of the package.
dlnewell
I love the Hobb's Wool also, but buy it in the 25 yard roll. I have several customers, me included, who love it!

Bonnie in Ok
Does it have a wrong or right side?
ffq-lar
I don't think any wool batting is needle punched, so there is no wrong side. What great stitch definition with wool! I have lots of customers who have discovered the great look and loft you get from wool. Plus there is no crease memory--the springiness of wool means no wrinkles are set, even after folding and storing for long periods.
gardenslug
Use Hobbs Tuscany out of package and it has always been lovely. It has my vote. Marilyn

BethDurand
I do Hobbs on the roll. Word of warning. It's much lighter than Warm and Natural so when you go to pick up the carton to put it in your car, you nearly throw it up in the air. I love it! peglu
Is there any wool batting out there that is white. I love, love, love wool batting but don't like that is unbleached. In mostly white quilts it dulls the crispness of the white.
