elkayr
would you use batting on a quilt with a fleece backing?
bonbon
I use white prewashed flannel It will still have the drape and helps prevent tufts of fleece from being pulled to the surface of quilt top during quilting. I have used batting but makes it heavier. Mostly depends on what you prefer.
Enchanted Quilting
I quilt in northern MN...all of my customers want an 80/20 along with the fleece. It is heavy, but the warmth is great. Keep the quilting nice and open.
delld
Even here in FLA I use 80/20 with the fleece. It's gets cold here too!
