Barbara Greenlee
Does anyone have a vertical cone thread holder for sale? Hoping to fine one less than buying a new one.
Kueser
Strap with a hunk of painters tape a small knitting needle on top with a cork on the end to hold the thread. Works great. Gail O

Kueser
I have never learned how to post photos. Been on this site for 12 years and never took the time. My quilting doesn't rate a pic.
piecrust
My dh made one using a piece of plywood for the base, drilled a hole to accommodate a wooden dowel to hold the thread and used a coat hanger which he bent to make a loop for the thread. Works great and didn't cost anything.
dyequilter
Cut the bottom off a 2 liter soda bottle. Run the thread out the top and over to your sewing machine. Going green!
