icolorize
Hi- Just wondering- I made a post that is listed as posted hours later. What gives? I'm actually posting this at 9:44am CDT. I wonder what time zone is hours different from CDT.
icolorize
I just checked again and the other post time corrected itself! Strange...but true.
starmona
I am posting here because I could not find out how to post a new topic. I have a millie and I would like to remove the quilt top bar. I float all my quilts and it is really in the way. Has anyone removed their quilt top roller and how did you solve the problem of being able to clamp the backing roller tight so your quilt sandwich does not sag? If you have done this, I would appreciate a picture. Thank you Romona
Mary Beth
This is a funny subject....it has come up before and I have to tell you I don't even look at that time zone thing...probably because I am in my own time zone most of the time
raggie
Starmona, You might ask Tina Collins. I know she floats all her quilts and I think she told me something about removing the bar. Raggie in Missouri
Patch
Well, at the top of your post it says "posted on 7/17/2007 at 06:46 AM", so go figure. I've given up on having my comp tell the truth about time. I think it's in denial. (No, I am NOT mad.)
ffq-lar
This question about time has been ongoing for a while. I believe the resolution was that the posted time is Greenwich Mean Time--that is, the place in England where time "starts". Pilots will understand this! If you count time zones and jump across the Atlantic, you will find that this is the correct time there. Who knows why--guess it's a computer thing! There is a way to adjust your post times but you will need to do a search for that info unless someone chimes in here. Don't worry about the time--just post those questions, suggestions, and especially photos for all to see!!! Linda R
circlelord
Hi, To adjust the time. Go to CONTROL PANEL , top right. You have to be logged in. Then go to PROFILE. At the bottom of the options is a time setting section. Cheers, Michael
