rcck00
My Millie arrived yesterday! She is still in her box, as we haven't started assembling yet. DH is reading the instruction book, and we'll start tomorrow. I can't wait to "meet" her and find out what her name is!! I'm very excited, and a bit anxious. I've been reading and reading, but there's just no substitute for getting your hands on it and practicing!

Have a great time, learn lots, and don't hesitate to ask questions. Everyone here is so supportive. Beth

Quilting Heidi
Cathy, congrats on the arrival of your new girl! You will have so much fun. The manual is written so well, you'll be surprised how easy it goes together. I got my machine 6 weeks ago. I think my machine is going to be a boy...lol I decided to name it Markie after my DH who so encourages me and doesn't ever complain about my expensive hobby! I decided that if it continues to function smoothly it would be a girl but if it causes me difficulty it will have a sex change . For now my girl is a dream! rcck00
You've all made me feel so welcome here. We are in the middle of assembly, and it seems to be going very smoothly. I did get some sleep last night, but all I did was dream about quilting on my new machine!! Will let you all know how it goes!
