victoriasews
The quilt I posted in pictures, Daisy Chain, is short about 2.25 x 8 inches of butter yellow 30\'s solid. Does anybody, by any chance, have some of that laying around? I was sure I had enough for the binding and being the optimist I am sewed the six strips I had onto the binding. Well, I ended up short and can\'t find any anywhere. I was so optimistic that I even have sewn the whole binding down except about 12 inches of it. I just knew somebody had some laying around. It is the same yellow as the little yellow border. Sincerely, Optimistic (or as some might say, Stupid)
juliagraves
Try taking a picture of the fabric and printing it on fabric. You may have to experiment a little to get the size correct. Good luck! Julia

Here is a picture of what I found... http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=9854&page=1#pid87629

skrat
I do believe that I have some butter yellow Kona solid. It\'s not 30\'s solid, but it is butter yellow and Kona cotton. I\'ll try to post a pic of it after I go take one. Be back shortly with it.

victoriasews
skrat, That looks awfully close. Our Hobby Lobby may have Kona. Let me check first. If not, would you consider selling me 1/8 yard? I think it was a reproduction yellow, but it\'s pretty old, so I may not be remembering correctly. Sheri Butler
Victoria? Is it a 1930\'s reproduction yellow solid that you are looking for? I\'m headed up to my quilting room to see if I happen to have any. I have alot of 30\'s reproduction fabric on hand.
