  1. I haven't been on the forum in a long time. I am so glad Landon has had his surgery and is doing well. Praise God. Will pray to ask for rapid healing.
  2. Thanks. I have made some adjustments like loosening the tension and only going in one of the guides and out another. It's much better but still not easy or pleasant. I also discovered I need an encoder wheel. That will fix the problem I think. I am just trying to do it on manual. Probably not a good choice.
  3. Is there a trick to using Superior monopoly? Mine keeps breaking.
  4. Yes, I had the same thing happen to my 2008 Millie. It was a bad circuit board. Easy to replace. Mine was under warranty so I don't know what the price is. It was pretty scary when that happened.
  5. I love, love, love my Studio cutter. I bought the studio because the Go didn't look like it would hold up. It is made of plastic. Also, I have some friends that say it is harder to turn than the Studio. I bought the adapter so I can use Go dies in my Studio. I really like the big strip dies for strips and squares. Very easy to use and you can't beat the accuracy. You will love which ever one you get.
  6. If I didn't already have one, I'd buy it in a second. Love my quiltazoid.
  7. Prayers sent in Em's behalf. So sorry to hear she is going through this. Praying for her family as well.
  8. So sorry to hear about your pain Rita. Maybe you could get another opinion. Have you talked to an anesthesiologist at a pain clinic? Sometimes when surgery is not an option, a pain clinic might be. I hope that someone can help figure this out. God bless.
  9. MIne is a 2008 also and it did the same thing. We replaced the circuit board and was back up running in no time. My Millie actually smoked!
  10. I think you will need a new ruler mate made for Millie's without thread cutters.
  11. I'll be there. Not taking any classes because I tore some ligaments in my hand.
  12. Julie, did you also get your table blissed?
  13. Congrats. Would love to see a larger picture or a close up.
  14. The RulerMate is made of metal and is screwd onto the machine, The Hartley Base expander is plexiglass that slides on and off. I have both but my preference is the RulerMate. I leave it on the machine.I only take it off for cleaning, I rarely use my thread cutter but do occasionally.
  15. Wow, that is gorgeous. What kind of batting did you use. And, what brand of thread?
  16. I use zippers and Red Snappers just like Gators. I like being able to zip off a quilt and work on something else.
  17. I've never heard of it but thanks for the heads up.
  18. I can see why you would want to keep it. Stunning quilt.Beautifully done.
  19. Very exciting! Congrats and best wishes Sheri. Can't wait to see your new gadgets.
