marikds
What type of adaptor do I need to use regular spools of thread on the Lenni? The DVD mentioned an adaptor but they were working on a Millenium. From the DVD, I got the impression that I can't put a regular spool of thread on the thread holders at the back of the machine. They seemed to be saying that only "cross threaded" cones would work.
IBQLTN2
I have done just fine on my Lenni with the thread holders that came with the machine. Have used various types of theads except mono poly, which may or may not give you problems if not off the top because of the way it winds, I guess. Let someone else explain about that, as I have not usede it yet. Jeanne
Sandra Darlington
I bought thread holders from APQS for my Liberty - same size as Lenny as far as I know. I have been please with mine. Check with APQS.
RitaR
My hubby made my spool holders for small spools.. I've used it for small spools,, as well as the mono-poly, and have also used the regular spool holder.. don't know why the diff now, unless he'd not made the holder yet. Busy Quilting
I put the horizontal spool holders on the front of my Millenium but have rarely used them. I use the back spool holders for both the cones, spools and monopoly. I have a piece of batting in the holder above the spool and usually use all three holes of the guide with no problems. Haven't tried any of the metallics this way yet. Lyn
quiltermidwife
I have used both types of thread on the back of the machine without any problems. Maybe just experiment and see what works
jeri
I have never had a problem using "regular" spools of thread on my Mille from the normal spool holder onthe back of the machine. If I'm using specialty threads such as metallics or invisable it works better closer to the needle. jeri
