Sams Mom
Our quilt guide is putting on its second annual quilt show in the fall and is currently working on quilt stands. We need to find a source for the cheapest source of bleached muslin ( can be a blend) for the quilt stands behind the quilts. 108" wide. We're going to need a lot so the cheaper the better. Do you have any sources. I can buy wholesale. Thanks so much! Donna
myquilts
We are also in the process of planning a quilt show for this April. Someone told me they got used white sheets from a hotel that were great for hanging over the stands/frames. Apparently the hotels regularly replace their linens. The price is right. Good luck with your search.
Mary Beth
Donna, Do you have a JoAnn's? You can use the 40% or 50% off coupon to buy a bolt of the muslin...you can't get much cheaper than JoAnn's
anita
Try MaryJos in Gastonia NC. She's on the web. Maybe even talk to them and see if they'll cut a better break for the quantity. Anita
kreacher
And JoAnn's is a great place to go if you need a styrofoam chicken!
IBQLTN2
we used black sheets for your quilt show and then there was no need to hem or anything, just slit the top folded area for the poles to go thru
