IBQLTN2 Posted July 14, 2009 Report Share Posted July 14, 2009 RITA With your topper board you could quilt in a large star in each of the sections and stitch in the ditch just on the like a set of steps if you follow what I mean like up, over, up, over along the blocks. put a red, white and blue flag type fabric for a border and voila!! there you have it!! I see those applique stars that have been mentioned above done in gold fabrics and I would think about quilting it with gold thread to tie it all together. I think it would perk it up a bit!!!
