Suzie W.
I haven't met you all yet but would love to join you on the 20th. I would also enjoy car pooling with Mary Beth and others. I do have a 7 passenger van. Suzie W.
Suzie W.
Mid-West quilters--just realized I have been away from the computer too long and that you had this discussion about the 20th several days ago. If you already had enough people attending and going--that is ok--I'll try to keep on top of things for next time. Suzie W.
jmcclannan
Suzie, you are welcome to come. We aren't meeting until Feb. 20 - hoping the weather improves by then. It's really going to be fun to get together.
Mary Beth
I didn't realize there would be so much interest in the KC metro area, that is great!! We should have a meeting here sometime too. I can't attend the MO-KAN group because of my silly "real job" so this will be fun. Suzie, of course you can come...the more the merrier. We will get a count as we get closer to the February date and see if we need a convoy Pray for good weather....so far we haven't done very well in that area....it can only get better...but of course, it will probably be May
mswings
Suzie you will have a ball!!! These girls are fun and informative. We'll fiqure out the convoy closer to the 20th. I was lucky enough to go to last gadget day and it really got me going. I hadn't had my machine for long and I was really inspired by all the gadgets and info. I'm still learning but have much more confidence. After my visit I am not as afraid of my machine as I was. Glad you'll be joining us!
Mary Beth
This is not just a Circle Lord show....although I will be bringing some very fun tools. But if you all have some other tools that are really good and you want to share....please, by all means bring them and demo.
jmcclannan
The last time people brought rulers, stencils, pantos, etc. that they didn't use or need anymore and we "traded". That was fun. Let's plan on doing that again.
Suzie W.
Thank you for including me! I have been quilting for 14 yrs. but just got my Millie set up this past Nov. So I am looking, learning and practicing. Really looking forward to spending a whole day meeting everyone, learning and having fun! Can I help by bring dessert goodies or such? Also, I have a solution to convoying--just need to check with my husband. Suzie W.
Mary Beth
Suzie you should check out the MO-KAN Longarm Machine Quilters group that meets once a month in Stanley, KS. You would be able to connect with other LAer's in our area and learn from some of the best. I can forward the latest newsletter when I get home from work. Suzie W.
Mary Beth--I joined the MO-KAN last Spring. Yes, I do enjoy it and look forward to the next meeting. If you are there--holler out and we'll get to meet. I am also joining the Blue Springs Twilight Quilter's Guild tonight. Suzie W.
dtreusch
Just letting you all know that I can't make the 20th. I just had a project deadline at work moved up by about 5 weeks. It was the end of April and is now the middle of March. That means I'll be working most weekends this month and probably most evenings to get things done before the middle of March. Ick!! I'd rather be quilting.

Mary Beth
Debbi, sorry you won't be able to make it. Cross your fingers that the weather holds out or none of us will make it I guess we will see you in May.
dtreusch
Sheri and MB - I'm really bummed. I had so much fun the last time and was really looking forward to this. I'm still planning on May, classes lined up and paid for, hotel room reserved with Sheri. I'll be there Tuesday afternoon through Saturday morning. Suzie W.
Debbie, you sound like my quilting friend as this is her tax season, so there goes the getting together till late April. Phone calls are only so good, but quilt shopping is so much more fun when doing it together!!! Hey, KC car pool gals, & Mary Beth, I know I offered my Honda van for the 20th. but my husband has snagged it as he now has to go with our daughter to Waco,Texas that weekend and does not want to ride in her little Escort as they are doing this in 3 days. HOWEVER, he has agreed to let us use our 15 passenger van (like new) (his pick-up-hee-hee). So numbers won't matter and plenty of room for taking stuff. So I am putting the offer and option out there. If you would rather do cars, just let me know where to meet up with you. So looking forward to this. Suzie W. jmcclannan
Debbi, we will definitely miss you!! I was hoping to learn a little more about IQ from you. (I'm giving it some serious thought.) I'm really looking forward to the 20th - only 19 days! Let's all pray for NO SNOW that weekend! I think everyone should bring a couple of their favorite tools and maybe a project you're working on or would just like to share.

There some great functionality that can't be demonstrated away from the machine because you have to be hooked up to the motors to use that functionality. Mary Beth
Okay, don't everyone flip...but I would like to see the IQ do it's thing. I cannot afford one and really don't want to be computerized, but would like to see it work. Suzy, a 15 passenger van sound good to me. We can all bond.
