Janet-Lee Posted February 6, 2011 Report Share Posted February 6, 2011 I live close to the Madeira US Corporate Headquarters and carry the Madeira Monolon monofilament, 15,000 yard cones for $25 including shipping, if anyone is interested. I love the Aurifil product too but it is a bit thicker and has more of a sheen than I can use for quilts that are going to be professionally photographed for patterns or magazines. I just adjust my tension & usually thread through the last hole of the thread guide above the tension disk.
