ffq-lar
Hi Sharon, A ruler as opposed to a board? Cindy Roth has a Sashiko ruler in several sizes with clamshells on one side and similar flat-topped curves on the other. A grid must be marked to do these clamshells--and surprise--Cindy sells the grid stencil as well. Quilter's Rule has Dragon Scales which is a nested set of templates--four sizes. A line is necessary with these--not a grid. One curve is stitched and then the template is moved to stitch the next. www.longarmuniversity.com www.quiltersrule.com Patty Jo is an independent agent for Quilter's Rule. Sharond
Linda, Yes, I meant ruler, not a board. I did see a youtube video from constantine quilts for a clam shell ruler/guide. However, after searching, I was unable to find it anywhere.
ffq-lar
Try-- www.constantinequilts.com.au/ Pull down the ruler tab on the home page and click on "shells"--they look more user-friendly than Cindy Roth's rulers.
seakitten
Quilters Rule has them. They are called "Dragon Scales", come in a set of 4 nested sizes, & make great clamshells.

LFQuilts
Lakeside Quilt Company: http://www.lovetoquilt.com/. Under rulers and templates, look for Humps and Bumps. I have the large and samll version. I have done practices pieces with these, but no customer quilts yet. Lynn
